This time we accidentally did good books, one sounded terrible, the other was fanfiction so we expected fanfiction quality, and were wrong on both counts. Apparently the New Yorker exclusively hires horrible people to write for them, at least that's our opinion based on the two New Yorker stories we reviewed this episode, also both were weirdly horny at the end, still don't understand that. Enjoy!

Time for class children! Lesson 1, the past is an illusion we use to justify future actions. Lesson 2, disregard lesson 1 if you really really like a section of history but people did reprehensible things and you don't know how to deal with it without changing your worldview. Lesson 3, rewrite the past in whatever way benefits you to tell a story that affirms people biases so they don't have be ashamed of the past or do anything to rectify it.
